What to do after a theft
- Log in to StolenProperty.com.au and list your item. Your listing will be shared with all members in your area and our http://www.facebook.com/StolenProperty.com.au community page.
- Share your listing with your Facebook friends and ask them to do the same.
- Use the find your local Police feature on the front page and report your theft to the Police.
- Give the Police as many details as you can including time and location. For example your registration papers, make, model, colour of your vehicle or make and model of electrical goods. Detailed descriptions and photo's can be helpful.
- Let the Police know that you have listed your item on www.StolenProperty.com.au
- Contact your insurance company and advise them of your theft or loss.
